Location

Tavasci Marsh, just East of Peck's Lake [Arizona]

Caption

Nesting pairs of Blue Grosbeaks (Passerina caerulea) inhabit the brushy west end of Tavasci Marsh [Arizona], just East of Peck's Lake [Arizona]. This area is a rare marshy wetland and is host to numerous species not found elsewhere in the vicinity. The chinking "notes" between songs are characteristic of this bird, and are sometimes all you hear from them.
