Telescopium telescopium, end view of shell, with animal. This is a view of the animal crawling, and of the basal (anterior) end of the shell. Note the "umbilicus" in the center of the base of the shell. Also, note the animal's long snout (on the right), the tentacle and eye (in the center), and the fecal pellets (left center).
