Caption
A worm-like chiton from the South Pacific, dorsal and ventral views. The very reduced dorsal shell plates are hardly visible. The foot, rather than being oval, is long and narrow, following the elongated morphology of the rest of the body. The grooves on each side of the foot contain the gills, as in other chitons.
