In June 2005, the ADW was represented at the
Web Designs for Interactive Learning conference. Team members in attendance were Tricia Jones and Chris Hamilton. The ADW was the focus of a critique session on target audiences.
WDIL was an invitational conference on developing and evaluating interactive educational web sites, sponsored by the
Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the
Exploratorium. Funded by the Informal Science Education Program at the National Science Foundation, the conference was held in Ithaca, NY, from June 15th - 18th. Approximately 50 diverse individuals - web site designers, researchers, innovators, and evaluators - assembled together to explore approaches and techniques that can help educational web sites compete with other online activities.
