- ADW, in association with the University of Michigan School of Education, has received generous support from the Interagency Education Research Initiative (NSF, DOE, NIH) to develop and study the impact of an inquiry-based curriculum for 5th and 6th graders. See our BioKids (
http://www.biokids.umich.edu) site for details. - Our content continues to grow! Thanks to the dedicated efforts of hundreds of students nationwide, we've added species accounts for many new animals. We've also added hundreds of bird songs to our database from Doug van Vausig at Naturesongs.com, many new bird specimen images, and other image collections.
- Our glossary is now live and we will continue to add to it. We thank Animal Info (http://www.animalinfo.org/) for allowing us to use and build upon their glossary.
- We've added a large set of mammalian anatomical images and Quicktime VR movies of spinning skulls. The Spinning Skulls Exhibit was recently focused at the Apple Higher Education Online site. You can read Learning Without Limits: Bigger, Better Biology Lab there.
