Parus rufescens (chestnut-backed chickadee)
Chestnut-Backed chickadees (Parus rufescens) inhabit the forests of the Pacific coast, and are an almost ubiquitous sound of the woods there. This is their every day song, but it is remarkable in the high pitch it achieves (over 9100Hz).
